At IBC2017, BBright will be introducing state-of-the-art HEVC – SDR/HDR professional decoders for high bitrate contribution applications (up to 160Mbps) and various distribution applications in broadcast or IPTV head-ends.
BBright is expanding its technology leading software-based video processing into contribution and distribution decoders to be used 24/7 by network operators, broadcasters, premium TV channels and IPTV telco’s.
These new UHD-Decode products represent the latest generation of high bitrate, low latency, 4:2:2 10-bit HDR HEVC contribution decoders with dual redundant TSoIP inputs and quad 3G-SDI outputs (or alternatively HDMI).
Industry standard HDR10/PQ, backward compatible HLG, straight from live camera S-Log3 (and more to standard to come) can be are supported with future HDR cross-conversions software options.
Up to 16 audio can be decoded or audio data bit stream pass-thru can be selected if needed in the contribution workflow.
