General Details
UHD-Decode is an easy to operate and unconditionally stable Ultra HD HEVC decoder for professional Broadcast applications such as for satellite, terrestrial, cable, OTT operators and IPTV networks, plus any kind of lab and field test experimentation.

UHD-Decode supports HEVC Main and Main 10 encoded transport stream input over IP. The video and embedded audio channels are output over quad 3G-SDI links, or HDMI 2.0b with metadata.

This software-based decoder, with adjustable latency, can be used in any live conditions either for sport events contribution and for various 24-7 broadcast monitoring applications. Multiple HD, high bit rate HEVC & AVC streams and Dolby(TM) AC-3, EAC-3, ATMOS, AC-4 audio streams are supported.

Control GUI and API

  • Incoming stream monitoring with on-demand MPTS parsing scan, video thumbnail, audio bar graphs
    (with associated metadata) and information about HDR, WCG, filtered service & PID’s, encoded tiles & slices
  • Input stream’s PMT, PAT, TS sync Loss, Continuity Counter, PID, sync Byte and RTP sync loss error reporting
  • Decoder presets and user settings to balance latency versus stream complexity
