BBright Integrated Playout is a state-of-the-art, software-based media platform designed to meet the evolving demands of high-end ingest, playout, and channel distribution applications up to Ultra HD. With native support for the latest ST 2110 standards, it offers unmatched flexibility for broadcasters transitioning to IP-based workflows. Thanks to support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, seamless SDR/HDR conversions, and advanced metadata management, BBright’s solution stands at the forefront of next-generation broadcasting — enabling linear broadcast to deliver studio-grade premium content with quality that surpasses VOD, while effortlessly handling legacy content catalogs and live programming.

Deliver every format, every audio experience, and every subtitle variation from a single ST 2110 playout stream.
BBright introduces in 2026 a new generation of IP playout. With version 2.2, Integrated Playout goes beyond traditional architectures by enabling a single, metadata-driven stream to serve all distribution needs, from Ultra HD HDR video to immersive audio and multilingual subtitles.
For years, broadcast infrastructures have evolved by adding layers of complexity. Each new requirement, whether it is HDR, immersive audio, or regional subtitle formats, has traditionally required its own dedicated processing chain. The result is a fragmented architecture where duplication becomes the norm, increasing both operational costs and technical overhead.
Integrated Playout 2.2 introduces a fundamentally different approach. Instead of multiplying workflows, it unifies them. A single ST 2110 stream carries not only the essences, but also the metadata required to dynamically adapt content to different formats, devices, and regions.
This shift moves playout from a format-driven model to a metadata-driven architecture, where flexibility is no longer achieved through duplication, but through intelligent orchestration.

At the core of Integrated Playout lies a fully IP-based architecture built on SMPTE ST 2110. In this model, metadata becomes a real-time control layer that defines how content is rendered across formats and devices.
A single video stream can simultaneously support Dolby Vision, HDR10, and SDR outputs, without requiring parallel playout paths. This is made possible through ISXD metadata, which dynamically drives rendering decisions downstream.
Audio follows the same principle. Through S-ADM metadata, immersive formats such as Dolby Atmos, MPEG-H, or AC-4 can coexist within a single workflow, enabling multiple listening experiences while maintaining precise synchronization within the IP domain.
Subtitles are no longer tied to fragmented regional standards. With the introduction of TTML carried over ST 2110-43, subtitle services become fully decoupled from legacy formats. A single stream can now deliver multiple languages and accessibility services globally, without conversion or duplication. This represents a major step toward truly unified international distribution.
