Four live workflows and a peer-reviewed MXL Technical Paper show how BBright is reducing complexity today and preparing for what comes next.
BBright is celebrating its 13th anniversary at IBC 2026 with new advances in IP transport, ST 2110 playout, live reception and open broadcast graphics.
On stand 2.B51, visitors will discover how BBright helps media organisations reduce duplicated infrastructure, connect diverse IP environments and maintain operational control across on-premises, virtualised and cloud workflows.
“When I founded BBright 13 years ago, I certainly did not expect our original business plan to change completely within six months,” said Guillaume Arthuis, Founder and Managing Director of BBright. “But our ambition has never changed: use outstanding engineering to make complex media workflows simpler, more open and more reliable. At IBC, we are showing both what this delivers today and where it can take the industry next.”
Four Workflows. One Objective: Less Complexity.
One Stream For The World delivers HDR, SDR, immersive audio and up to 32 subtitle languages from one synchronized ST 2110 source. In one deployment for a global tier-one OTT events platform, the workflow reduced parallel SDR and HDR playout chains by at least 50%.
The expanded BBright IP Gateway brings SRT, RIST and MPEG-TS into one operational environment, giving operators the freedom to select the right transport protocol while maintaining consistent monitoring and control.
Decoder v3.0 provides a software-based platform for professional live IP reception, media processing and service monitoring.
BBright will also demonstrate EBU OGraf support integrated directly into its UHD and ST 2110 playout platform, enabling open, HTML5-based broadcast graphics without proprietary lock-in.
MXL: Connecting Broadcast and AI
Beyond the stand, BBright will contribute to the IBC Technical Papers Programme with:
“MXL as an interoperability boundary between Artificial Intelligence and broadcast infrastructures.”
Presented by Guillaume Arthuis and developed by BBright France and Hexalia, the peer-reviewed paper examines how the Media eXchange Layer can connect AI processing with professional broadcast IP infrastructure while preserving real-time performance and interoperability.
